The number of animals entering shelters greatly outnumbers those families looking to adopt: up to 50% of dogs and up to 70% of cats that enter shelters will end up dying there because no one comes to adopt them. |

6-9 million dogs and cats are euthanized each year simply due to lack of room. |

You can name VCARE as a beneficiary by creating a new will, adding a codicil to your present will, or including VCARE in your revocable trust. |
You can name VCARE as either a direct beneficiary of a set amount of money, a specific asset (e.g. 100 shares of stock), or a percentage of your estate. A legacy to VCARE may take different forms, including: |

An individual may designate that a bequest be used for the general purposes of VCARE, or to support a specific program. The following is a suggested form for such a bequest: |
"I give and bequeath to VADODARA CENTER FOR ANIMAL RESCUE AND EMERGENCY, a non--profit organisition, with its principal offices presently located at FF-28, 1st Floor, Kalpvrux Complex, Beside T.B. Hospital, Gotri Road, Vadodara-21, the sum of $ or Rs._____, to be used for the accomplishment of its general purposes (or for a specific purpose, as indicated)." |
