Veterinary Services

Provides an out-patient veterinary service and attends calls for injured strays as well as pets.

Animal Birth Control

Supports the Animal Birth Control Program.

Anti Rabies Vaccinations

VCARE has a project under which the entire dog population of a particular area can be vaccinated against rabies.

Other Immunization Prgrams

Conducts immunization programs for Foot and Mouth Disease (FMD) in rural areas around Vadodara.

Members of Rotary Inner Wheel Club of Jawaharnagar, who donated the water tanks for donkey shelter at VCARE.
A one-year old Labrador male dog was rehomed with Devyaniraje Gaekwad and is living happily with her. The dog was found near Jetalpur road by the VCARE team.
Work With The Animals
A 3-month old Calf, with maggot wound in hock region was found from Gotri road. It was successfully treated by VCARE vet and is happily living at our shelter.

Male donkey with a difficult and painful compound fracture on the right hind leg had to undergo amputation of the limb. It is recovering well at the shelter.

An abandoned donkey was found with a serious and painful maggot wound on the left hind limb.

After many efforts to save the leg by our vet, we had to amputate the limb. The donkey is now out of pain and recovering well at the shelter.
